history

CRUMA was founded by B. Canals in 1974.

Although it began as a merchandising company, it already had a license for the manufacture and marketing in Spain of an  european ductless fume hoods company.  It was closely related, for 18 years, to the company that owned that license.
In 1992, CRUMA decided to develop its own line under the CRUMAIR brand name. This led to the company’s growth and made possible the access to the international marketplace. It began to manufacture laminar flow cabinets under the AIRNET trademark two years later.

In 1999, CRUMA set up a quality management system following the UNE EN ISO 9002:1994 standard and since July 2002, our company has been certified by the directives of the UNE EN ISO 9001:2000 standard.
At the beginning of 2002, it planned and developed a new product line under the CRUMA trademark, with the main objective of strengthening its leadership in Spain and at the same time fitting its products to customer demand.

Today we export to over 60 countries and CRUMA is recognized worldwide as a leading name for guaranteeing personal and environmental protection.
